Biography
Elena Bolelli is an artist in the field of performing arts (movement/dance) and a certified Gaga teacher the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin.
Currently, Elena works as a dancer, creator, and freelance teacher in Italy, Sweden, and England
AS A DANCER
Elena has had the opportunity to perform works by:
- Lee Brummer, co-director of the IL Dance company, in "The Rise and Fall" in 2023.
- Federica Sorrentino, freelance choreographer, in "What if?" in 2022.
- Sweetshop Revolution, in "I am not Dead I am only asleep," from 2020 to 2022.
- Holstebro Dance Company, in works by Jason Mabana, Stephanie Thomasen, Thomas Bentin, Marie Brolin Tani, and Tim Rushton in 2019.
Throughout her artistic journey, Elena has had the opportunity to work and study with artists such as:
Ohad Naharin, Akram Khan, Andrea Costanzo Martini, Sita Osthaimer, Hannes Langolf, Lenka Vagnerova, Matthew Robinson, David Zambrano, Noa Zuck, Kerry Nicholls, Joy Alpeurto Ritter, Ihsan Rustem, Tilman Odonnel, Adi Salant, Noa Wertheim, and Itzik Galili.
AS A CREATOR
Elena has presented her works at various festivals, including :
Florence Dance Festival, Ante Festival, StuzziCarte Festival, Crudo Festival, Mobile Dance Festival, Riley Theater, and others.

Elena graduated with honors from Northern School of contemporary dance in 2017 and Studied abroad in Israel at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. In 2018 She received a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from NSCD (UK) .
AS A TEACHER
She is working and she has worked for various institutions:

- Ateneo Danza Forlì Cesena from 2024 (Forlì).
- La Capriola e Formazione Modena Danza from 2024 (Modena).
- ArtsFactory International since 2023 (Bologna).

- Ballet Akademie Stocholm in 2022 (Sweden).
- Theatre Alliance Since 2022 (Sweden).
Elena has also conducted workshops and seminars at Milkshake project in Paris, Scottish Dance Theater, Compagnia Virgilio Sieni, Region Teater Väst, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, The Place LCDS, DTA program Denmark, University of Wolverhampton,Almadanza, Axis Danza Udine, Circolo Zoo, Ateneo Danza Forlí/Cesena, Lab Danza Verona, and others.
